Starter

The Starter is the key form allowing the investor to get to know your project. This document must contain all information you have about your project, be it just an idea or a working company. The more information you have about the project, the better it is, so do not be afraid to include your business plan, proof of concept, or any other documents. The investments into start-ups are primarily dependent on precise information so that each investor can make a decision where to invest.

The Starter consists of six parts, which will provide answers to any investment fund representative as well as any angel investor.

FAQ

Filling in of the Starter form is the first step for everyone looking for an investor. If you already have the project background documentation ready it will take no more than 30 minutes. You can discontinue filling the Starter at any point because it is automatically regularly saved. The content of your Starter will be the first contact for the investor with your project, so please do not underestimate it. If you already have a business plan, financial plan or any other documents ready, make sure you attach them.
You can pay for the Starter through the GoPay service either by pay card, or express wire transfer. We try to burden the projects as little as possible and believe that if your project is looking for an investor, the price is adequate. At the same time, we go through each project before publication to make finding an investor as easy as possible.
The Starter has been designed to be in line with the investors’ criteria as much as possible and be transparent. It has been designed in such a way as to provide the right information about each project to everyone looking for an investment in start-ups. If your project is so specific it cannot be filled in through the form, please contact us.

It is not a problem. If your business idea is so original that our form cannot handle it, please contact us and we will figure out the next steps. The more original the start-up, the more interesting!
The number of active investors who are looking for investment opportunities through our platform keeps growing. Currently, there are several dozens of investors represented, who can be divided into the “angel investor” and “investment fund” categories. The key, though, is the fact we know their requirements regarding start-up investments so we are able to present to the investors such projects that meet their requirements.
To ascertain the quality of the published Starters, we must go through them personally. Thus the publication within 48 hours. We do not want to slow your start up; we want to show the investors that your idea makes sense.
The minimum and maximum amount of investment is based on the quality and stage of the given idea. It can be said in general that too low amount may not be enough for the project; on the other hand, if you ask for a higher amount, it is important to support it by your business plan or directly by the financial plan. The investment amount the investor is willing to accept is also related to his or her possibilities. The general rule is that an angel investor is able to invest single millions of Czech Crowns, while a venture capital fund higher amounts.
The Starter publication period starts running on the moment of its publication, so you do not have to be afraid that we would cut the possibility for you and the possible investors to find an interesting opportunity of investment.
If no project investor is found during the time of your Starter publication, we must give room to others. It is realistic to find an investor for your start-up within six months from publication, if the project meets the expectations of private investors. The start-up investment is a process of several meetings, provision of the necessary documents, materials and information, and we know from experience that 6 months is a realistic period for carrying out the investment.
We understand that information about your start-up project is sensitive and that is why we do not publish it on our website, which is open to the public. The detailed description of your project is available only to tested and registered investors who respect business privacy. If an unregistered investor shows interest in your project, we always contact them first to check them and then continue based on agreement with the business idea creators.
